On the ball

The show is about growing up in a football-environment, how to find your own identity amongst a swarm of rules, hormones and expectations. It tells the story of three boys and their struggle to be the best player, to get a place on the local team and become a professional player for Leeds. The idol is Peter Lorimer because he was the toughest goal scorer in the world, he shot the hardest balls ever. We meet the boys at practice and when they are playing matches, in the changing room and in their time off. There is rough language and a great deal of vulnerability. This is the boys` world. A world of good and bad. The former football player Rune Temte wrote the play.
